About Live Painting & Art Demonstrations
Art That Happens Right in Front of You
I’m Sanket from Mumbai, a painter trained at JJ School of Art. Live painting is my way of bringing art and entertainment together, with each event turning into a one-of-a-kind creative show. You’ll see me start with a blank canvas and finish with a full artwork by the end of the event.
How My Live Art Works
People get to watch the whole process - brushstrokes, color choices, and even the mistakes. Whether it's a festival, a museum, or a company event, the live painting becomes a central attraction. The final piece is something you and your guests actually saw come to life, making it a real memento.
What Guides My Work
I trust my skill and the energy of the crowd. I rarely plan out every detail - bas kaam karte raho (just keep working). The vibe of the event often shapes the painting. I don’t mind working big, and I love experimenting with size and themes.
Where You Might’ve Seen Me
I’ve painted live at places like Thane Art Festival (Maratha scene, huge canvas), CSMVS Museum (museum entrance), Raj Bhavan (landscapes), Kalakari Festival (Hampi watercolor), and INS Hamla for Navy Day (1971 war history).
Details That Matter
You’ll see me working with acrylics or watercolors, tackling landscapes, portraits, or historical scenes. I bring all my gear and can set up anywhere - inside, outside, under tents, or even at night. Mujhe bade canvas pe explore karna pasand hai (I like working on big canvases).

My Story
Hi, Sanket here. JJ School of Art, Mumbai - that’s been my base. Wahi sab kuch seekha (learned everything there). Art’s never been a lonely thing for me. My English-speaking friends, our broken angrezi (English), and our growing group - that’s how I grew. Outside college, I wander. Hampi, Lepakshi, old stones, Vijayanagara history - all that ends up in my work. MFA done, but the sketching, painting, that won’t ever stop. Yeh safar chalta rahega (this journey goes on).
My Work
Painting & Portrait Services - I paint portraits, landscapes, and take custom portrait commission work. Oil, acrylic, watercolor - sab chalta hai (I use all).
Live Painting Demonstration - I do live painting demonstration at events, festivals. Big canvas or tiny sketchbook, I’m up for it.
European Antique Fusion - Mixing European antique forms with Indian models, my art is a blend. I let the work speak.
Spontaneous Watercolor Study - Sometimes I skip pre-sketches and paint straight, keeping things fresh and intuitive.
Personal & Commercial Practice - Commercial kaam chalu hai (commercial work is on), but my personal practice never stops.
