Preserving the soulful legacy of the Delhi Gharana, I offer traditional online Tabla training for students worldwide, from beginners to advanced practitioners.

The soul of the Delhi Gharana lies in its unique sound, produced by mastering the "Kinar" (edge) and "Syahi" (center black portion) of the tabla. In this demonstration, I explain how this fundamental technique makes our style so melodious and distinct. This is a core part of what you will learn in my online tabla lessons.

The Guru-Shishya tradition knows no borders. It fills me with pride to see my senior disciples from Tanzania, Russia, and India paying tribute through their music. This video is a testament to our global family and the deep connection we build through online learning.

Here is a glimpse of a "Taal Vadya Kutcheri," a collaborative percussion ensemble performance, at the Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav. As a professional artist, I bring decades of stage experience to my teaching, ensuring you learn not just to play, but to perform.

Music is a legacy passed down through generations. Here, my granddaughter and disciple, Sayesha, plays a "Tukra" and "Paran" in Teentaal. It shows that with the right guidance, even the youngest learners can grasp complex compositions of Indian classical percussion.

My live online masterclasses are designed for tabla aspirants worldwide. This poster details the topics for our sessions on CA TV and World Tabla Council, covering everything from basic syllables, or bols, to advanced rhythmic analysis and skill-building exercises.

For me, tabla is a form of meditation, a "Sadhana." The disciplined practice of its rhythms brings a unique sense of calm and focus. Many students find that learning this instrument enhances their emotional well-being and provides a powerful way to manage stress.

I am incredibly proud to see my disciples achieve recognition on international platforms. This is an announcement for my student, Master Atharv Tandon, who was featured in a live performance for the Canada Day Festival, representing the Delhi Gharana tradition.

When you join my classes, we do not simply memorize patterns. We focus on the 'Nikash'—the precise production of sound from the Kinar (edge) and Syahi (center). I personally correct your finger placement and spinal posture, ensuring your strokes are crisp and melodious, whether you are picking up a tabla for the first time or refining your solo repertoire.
