About Join Our Dance Family
Unlike programs relying on recorded music, our training integrates live Tabla and Harmonium support. This ensures students develop a genuine connection to taal and laya, learning directly from professional artists within our Mandi House studio.
We follow a rigorous quarterly cycle, with two sessions per week ensuring consistent progress. In our Kathak module, we emphasize technical foundation through tatkaar, chakkars, and hastaks, while our Bharatnatyam curriculum focuses on adavus, mudras, and the essential expression of bhaav. Because we believe performance is the ultimate test of practice, every student trains with the goal of performing on our professional rangmanch at annual events like Taranga. This is not a casual space; it is a dedicated environment for those who treat dance as a serious discipline. We require a quarterly commitment, and classes include theory to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the art form, not just physical movement. Our studio in Mandi House provides the high-ceiling practice space necessary for these art forms.
