We run holiday camps and workshops where kids aged 2 to 16 learn music, dance, arts, and life skills from practicing artists through hands-on activities.
Pricing Guide
Toddler & Kids Summer Activity Camp (Ages 2-7)
Schedule & Venue
- Duration: 2 to 2.5 weeks (10-12 sessions total).
- Timing: 1 to 2 hours per day (Morning or Evening batches).
- Location: Mandi House campus classrooms (Standard tiled flooring, functional seating).
- Batch Size: 10-15 children per group.
Creative Arts & Crafts
- Painting: Texture painting with ice, vegetable printing, and colour splash.
- Traditional Art: Wooden block stamping on paper or fabric.
- Floral Art: Ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement) using real stems and leaves.
- Handwork: Puppet making using paper and socks.
Movement & Life Skills
- Activities: Storytelling with props, Zumba style dance, and musical rhythm games.
- Sensory: Flameless cooking sessions (squeezing lemons, mixing ingredients) to teach textures.
- Themes: Role play days like Jungle Safari or Ocean Dive.
Important Notes
- Includes all craft materials and a completion certificate.
- Parents must provide water and light snacks (no meals served).
Intensive Classical Workshop: Kathak or Vocal
Course Format
- Options: Choice between Kathak Dance or Hindustani Vocal Music.
- Duration: 15 to 16 sessions spread over 3 to 4 weeks (typically 3 days/week).
- Class Length: 60 minutes of focused instruction per session.
- Age Groups: Batches split for 5-10 years and 10-16 years.
Curriculum Highlights
- Live Music: Classes feature live Tabla or Harmonium accompaniment for natural rhythm training.
- Kathak Focus: Drills on Taatkaar (footwork), Hastaks (hand gestures), Laya (tempo), and Taal cycles.
- Vocal Focus: Breathing exercises, voice projection, Swaras (notes), and Alankaars (ornamentation).
- Showcase: Concludes with a Rangmanch internal performance.
Essentials
- Certification: Institutional certificate of completion provided upon finish.
- Attire: Students must wear own comfortable ethnic wear (Kurta/Salwar).
- Equipment: Ghungroos for dance not included in fee.

Why We Do What We Do
Holidays shouldn't just be about sitting in front of a screen. At Sangeet Bharati, we try to make them a real break - full of creativity, movement, and music. Our camps and workshops are for kids who want to do something fun and hands-on, picking up new skills and a little bit of our culture along the way.
What Little Ones Get (Ages 2-7)
For the youngest, our creative summer camps for kids are all about playful learning:
- Arts & Crafts: Painting, puppet making, even Hand Block Printing and Ikebana - kids love getting their hands messy.
- Music & Dance: Basics of sur and taal, Zumba, Aerobics - lots of energy and laughter.
- Storytelling: Jungle and Ocean Safaris, puppet shows, story circles.
- Life Skills: Simple cooking (no fire!), sensory activities, and yoga for tiny bodies.
For Budding Performers (Ages 5-16)
Older kids who are into Indian cultural activity camps get:
- Kathak Workshop (“Nritya Aarambh”): Starting with Taatkaar (footwork), Hastaks (hand movements), Mudras, and understanding rhythm and expression.
- Vocal Music Workshop: Basics of swaras, alankaars (patterns), and getting comfy with taal.

My Story
Namaste! We’re Sangeet Bharati. Life here? Full of messy hands in the garden, festival colours and giggles. Our preschool is all about play, not pressure - kids get to be curious, wild, and desi (rooted in Indian culture) from day one. And for the older lot, we’re the adda (hangout) for dance, music, and self-expression. Ghungroos, raags, stage lights - our gurus help you find your spark, whether you’re tiny or a teen.
My Work
Preschool & Early Learning - Play-based preschool for ages 2-4, with outdoor fun and a creative, hands-on approach.
Indian Classical Dance & Music - Kathak, Bharatnatyam, vocal and tabla classes with pro artists. Students perform in our annual shows.
Spanish Guitar Lessons - Beginner and intermediate group sessions for Spanish Guitar, from chords to melodies.
Workshops & Camps - Summer camps, arts & crafts, storytelling, and special Kathak workshops for kids and teens.
