Playful Learning & Activity Camps for Kids in Mandi House
Childhood is meant for discovery, not just textbooks. At Sangeet Bharati, we create a space where toddlers engage in sensory play, storytelling, and creative arts, turning every day into a journey of learning through action.
Learning life skills can be delicious and fun. During our 'Lemony-Melony' summer activity, children experience the joy of making something themselves, from squeezing lemons to mixing their own summer coolers in a safe, flameless cooking environment.
We introduce our youngest students to the benefits of yoga in a playful and accessible way. This collage from our International Yoga Day celebration shows our little yogis learning balance, flexibility, and mindfulness through engaging poses and stretches.
Our story and puppet shows are a favorite among our preschoolers. We use animated storytelling with actions and props to make learning morals fun and memorable, enhancing social skills and inquisitiveness in a nurturing group setting.
About Playful Learning & Fun Activities
Instead of just observing, children at our Mandi House campus get hands-on with activities like our signature 'flameless cooking' sessions. They develop fine motor skills by squeezing lemons and mixing ingredients for summer coolers in a safe, controlled environment. This approach extends to all our sessions, ensuring that whether it is an animal-inspired yoga pose or a puppet-making workshop, your child is an active participant in their own learning process rather than a passive listener.
Our approach to early childhood development centers on the philosophy that play is the primary language of learning. For children aged 2-7, we move away from high-pressure academics, focusing instead on building social confidence, curiosity, and coordination through structured activity.
The Sangeet Bharati Approach
Our curriculum blends sensory stimulation with traditional creative outlets. We believe that when children explore concepts through multiple senses, they retain more and enjoy the process. Our sessions include:
- Creative Arts & Crafts: Beyond standard painting, we introduce kids to traditional techniques like Hand Block Printing on fabric and the principles of Ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement). These build focus and fine motor dexterity.
- Movement & Yoga: Our 'little yogis' sessions introduce balance and mindfulness through animal-themed poses, helping children manage energy levels and improve body awareness.
- Story & Language: We use puppet shows and interactive storytelling to teach moral values and improve vocabulary, encouraging shy children to participate and socialize in small, comfortable groups.
Logistics at Mandi House
We keep our batches small, with 10-15 children per group, ensuring every child receives individual attention. Programs run in 2 to 2.5-week cycles, with 1-2 hours of engagement daily. Our campus is a functional, safe space designed for movement, featuring standard tiled flooring and appropriate seating for toddlers.
We provide all craft materials, while our instructors focus on creating a supportive atmosphere where 'messy hands' are welcomed as a sign of true learning. Whether your child is joining for a summer camp or our ongoing preschool sessions, they will come home tired, happy, and humming a new tune.
