About Our Camp Offerings
Expect your child to come home with paint-stained fingers and a song on their lips. We prioritize active participation over observation, so whether it is flameless cooking for toddlers or mastering the basics of taal for older students, your child is learning a tangible skill in every session, not just passing time.
A Screen-Free Summer in Mandi House
We believe holidays are meant for active discovery. Our camps are designed to provide a productive, creative break from the academic year. We operate in small, intimate batches of 10 to 15 children, ensuring that every participant receives personal attention from our instructors, who are all practicing artists.
Programs for Different Stages
We split our curriculum to match the developmental needs of different age groups:
-
For Toddlers & Kids (Ages 2-7): This program focuses on sensory play and creative exploration. Activities include arts and crafts like hand block printing and Japanese Ikebana, alongside storytelling, puppet making, and movement-based learning like Zumba and rhythm games.
-
For Budding Performers (Ages 5-16): Our intensive workshops introduce structured classical training. Students can choose between Kathak (focusing on taatkaar, hastaks, and laya) or Hindustani vocal music (swaras and alankaars). These sessions provide a safe environment to build confidence and prepare for a final rangmanch performance.
Why Our Approach Works
We keep the environment functional and real. We do not use digital simulations; instead, we focus on tactile experiences—touching textures, learning rhythm through live table/harmonium accompaniment, and understanding Indian cultural traditions. All craft materials and completion certificates are included. Parents only need to pack light snacks and water for the session. Whether your child is 2 or 16, they will leave our campus with a new hobby, improved dexterity, and a bit more cultural awareness.
