Where My Music Comes From
Music is my life, not just a job. Born into the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana, I’ve spent years learning and living music. Every time I get on stage, I bring that taleem (training) with me. I truly believe I’m nothing without people listening and giving me their dua (blessings).
What You Get With Us
When you invite me and my band 'Murshid', you’re not just booking a group — you’re getting a full-on mehfil (intimate music gathering). We’re 14 artists, each with our own vibe. Together, we create what I call a proper Sham-e-Rouhani (evening of the soul).
Our Music Style
We’re known for Sufi live band experience, but our playlist goes from Sufi Fusion and modern Sufi Rock to old-school Bollywood, current hits, Punjabi bangers, and even ghazals for those deep, poetic nights. We love adding that Bollywood tadka (spice) and a bit of shayeri (poetry) to every show. If you want a wedding Sangeet live performance or a soulful set for smaller groups, we’ve got you.

My Story
Music is in my blood, Rampur Sahaswan Gharana ka parampara (tradition) hai mere andar. Singing feels like prayer. When I'm with my band Murshid, stage pe Mehfil-e-Murshid hota hai – not just a show, it's an experience. Gazal ho ya Punjabi track, mera kaam hai dil tak pahunchna (my job is to reach hearts). Awards mil gaye, par asli khushi hai crowd ki muskurahat. Bas, blessings chahiye hamesha!
