Before every track, I weave in a couplet of shayari that sets the mood, creating a conversation between the lyrics and the listeners. Whether it is a quiet corporate dinner or a vibrant family wedding, these poetic interludes turn a standard performance into a true Sufi mehfil, allowing guests to connect with the music on a more personal level.

At the heart of every show is the 'Mehfil-e-Murshid' experience. My training in the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana is not just about vocal technique; it is about understanding the space and the people in it. When I perform, I look to see who is listening, who needs a moment of calm, and who is ready for high-energy Punjabi beats. The poetry serves as our bridge. By reciting classic lines from legends like Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan or contemporary Sufi poets, we build a bridge of emotions that makes the eventual transition into high-energy Qawwali or Bollywood fusion songs feel natural and deeply satisfying. My band configuration is flexible, ranging from an intimate acoustic trio—perfect for low-volume lounge dining—to a full 10-piece concert ensemble for larger gatherings. We do not use backing tracks; every sound you hear, from the deep bass of the tabla to the rhythmic electric guitar, is played live.
