About Our Performances at Top Venues
When we perform at venues like Limitless Luxe or Drama, it is not just a standard gig, it is a Mehfil. My band, Murshid, and I balance the energy carefully, starting with soulful shayari and soft Sufi to let the mood settle, before we bring in the drums and dholak to get the crowd dancing. Whether it is a packed club or a private event, we customize our setlist to match the room, ensuring every listener feels connected to the music.
Our band, Murshid, brings a versatile sound that works in diverse environments, from the intimate setting of a cafe to the high-energy vibe of a Delhi nightclub. We have performed across prominent spaces including Ivoryy, Downtown Gurugram, and Limitless Luxe in Noida.
My musical journey is rooted in the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana, which allows me to blend traditional Qawwali and Sufi compositions with modern Bollywood and Punjabi tracks. Depending on the venue and crowd, we can scale our setup. For smaller spaces, we offer an acoustic trio, while our larger concert ensemble of up to 14 musicians is designed for grand stages.
We focus on an interactive experience. A performance with us involves shayaris between tracks, crowd engagement, and a live flow that builds from soulful to high-tempo.
