This is what a 'Mehfil-e-Murshid' night feels like. Performing the classic 'Halka Halka Suroor' with my full band as the audience lights up the dance floor. We bring this energy and grand setup to every live show.
I always love to begin a classic like 'Aafreen Aafreen' with a little shayari. It sets the mood and connects us all before the music takes over. This is a glimpse into the soulful side of my performance.
The energy is electric when we perform 'Dumadum Mast Qalandar'. You can see the audience completely immersed and my talented percussionists driving the rhythm. This is the high-energy qawwali fusion we are known for.
Nothing beats the joy of singing a Bollywood retro classic like 'Haal Kya Hai Dilo Ka' and seeing everyone connect with the melody. It’s all about creating that interactive, sing-along atmosphere during our live music nights.
Before singing the powerful qawwali 'Tumhe Dillagi', I shared some heartfelt shayari to connect with the audience. This blend of poetry and music is a special part of my performance, creating a truly immersive Sufi experience.
Here is my complete 14-piece band, Murshid, on a grand stage. Having a full ensemble with traditional and modern instruments allows us to create a rich, powerful sound for a truly memorable Sufi fusion show.
