Music is a language passed down through generations. My work is built on the foundation of rigorous classical training from my father and guru, Pandit Rajgopal Kallurkar, and the professional standards upheld by All India Radio.

I am deeply grateful to have been placed in the 'B High' Grade by All India Radio (Prasar Bharati). This recognition, achieved through the blessings of my gurus, is a significant milestone in my journey.

An invitation to celebrate the 60th birthday of my father and guru, Pandit Rajgopal Kallurkar, and the 40th anniversary of his tabla school. His guidance is the foundation of my music.

A detail from the event invitation, showing that I will be accompanying a flute jugalbandi at my appa's celebration. Performing at an event honoring my guru is a special privilege.

The main invitation for the dual celebration of the Kallur Mahalaxmi Tabala Vidyalaya and my father's 60th birthday. It was a proud moment for our entire musical family.

About My Lineage & Recognition

Achieving a B-High grade from All India Radio was a rigorous test of consistency and precision under pressure. When you hire me for a concert, that same technical discipline is what I bring to your stage. Whether I am tuning for a flute jugalbandi or holding the rhythm for a vocal khayal, I apply the same dedication and focus I learned during my years at the Kallur Mahalaxmi Tabala Vidyalaya.

Growing up at the Kallur Mahalaxmi Tabala Vidyalaya gave me more than just technical skill. It provided the context needed to truly understand the Faroukhabad Gharana and the nuances of light music styles like bhavageete.

The All India Radio B-High grading serves as an assurance of quality for event organizers. It means I have the technical capability to handle professional audio setups, maintain pitch stability during long performances, and adapt instantly to the needs of different vocalists or instrumentalists.

My father taught me that a tabla player’s true value lies in their ability to listen, not just play. I approach every performance, from a private baithak in Indiranagar to a formal concert at Gayana Samaja, with a deep respect for the craft. My music is not just about performing, it is a duty to maintain the quality associated with my lineage. If you are looking for accompaniment that balances tradition with reliable technical execution, I am here to help.
