Hindustani Classical Accompaniment
My core service is providing sensitive and energetic tabla support for Hindustani classical music. I have experience accompanying both vocal performances, such as khayal and bandish, and a wide range of instrumental recitals including sitar, sarod, and flute.
Jugalbandi & Fusion Collaborations
I love the creative energy of jugalbandi concerts, where different musical traditions meet. I frequently perform in Hindustani-Carnatic fusion events, creating a rhythmic dialogue between the tabla and instruments like the mridangam and violin.
Bhavageete & Devotional Music
I provide tabla accompaniment for light music (bhavageete) and devotional music (bhakti sangeeta) programs. These performances range from intimate baithak sessions to large festival stages like the Mysore Dasara.
My Lineage & Recognition
My musical journey is rooted in the teachings of my father and guru, Pandit Rajgopal Kallurkar. I am also a graded artist of All India Radio, a recognition I hold with deep gratitude.
