Musical Projects: From Classical Stages to Kannada Cinema
Whether it’s the rhythmic energy of a Bharatanatyam performance or the precision of a film score, music is my way of connecting. Here’s a peek into the projects I’ve been blessed to be part of.
This is what I love doing most. Providing the lead vocals and konnakol for a live Bharatanatyam orchestra. Here, you can see a beautiful performance to my music, showcasing how the rhythm and melody come together on stage.
I was truly blessed to lend my voice for the title song of 'Dasa Purandara', a major Kannada television serial on Colors Kannada. This project was very close to my heart, bringing the story of the great Purandara Dasa to life through music.
A look inside my studio during a recording session for a dance production. Here, we are composing and recording a complex jathi, layering konnakol (vocal percussion) to create a powerful rhythmic base for the choreography.
Here I am announcing the song release for the Kannada feature film 'Made in Bengaluru'. I had the amazing opportunity to work as the chief music coordinator for this movie, and it was a fantastic journey with a talented young team.

This is a clip from my acapella band, Advaitha. I love arranging multi-part vocal harmonies, and this project, the Mysore State Anthem 'Kayou Sri Gowri', shows how voices alone can create a rich and complete musical piece.

Music for Dance
The rhythm is where the magic starts. I build full Margam scores for Bharatanatyam, working directly with choreographers to craft the perfect Jathis and Konnakol (vocal percussion). When I sing lead for a live orchestra, the goal is simple: total sync between the dancers and the musicians. It’s about the blend—violin, flute, mridangam, and vocals.
Film and Television
From coordinating music for the Kannada film 'Made in Bengaluru' to lending my voice for serials like 'Dasa Purandara', I love the process of storytelling through sound. It’s a mix of traditional Carnatic roots and modern production, and it’s always a rush to see it all come together on screen.
The Studio Experience
My studio in Bengaluru is where ideas get real. Whether it’s multi-part acapella arrangements or simple devotional vocal tracks, I handle the tracking, mixing, and engineering personally. It’s not just about hitting the record button; it’s about getting the diction, pitch, and emotion exactly right.
