From Hindustani classical raags to film scores and commercial jingles, this collection captures the different ways I bring the sitar to life in the studio and on stage.

This is where the magic happens. A glimpse into a Hindustani classical album recording session with the talented Yashwant Vaishnav on tabla. I focus on capturing the pure, authentic sound of the sitar for every project.

Bringing a soulful sitar interpretation to the beautiful song 'Chunar'. I love working on Bollywood covers to give a familiar melody a new, classical voice in the studio.

Rehearsing with my full band for a concert. This shows how I collaborate with other musicians, blending the sitar with drums, keyboards, and tabla to create a powerful fusion sound for live shows and recordings.

A truly memorable moment meeting the legendary Shri. Amitabh Bachchan ji. It was an honour to discuss the sitar and Indian classical music with him during my work on the KBC promos.

In my element with my sitar. This instrument is an extension of my soul, and I bring that connection and passion to every recording session, whether it's for a film score, an ad, or a classical piece.

In the studio recording a sitar piece for a Visa ad film with composer Santosh Jagdale. I am experienced in delivering professional, high-quality tracks for major brands and advertising campaigns.

The soothing notes of Raag Malkauns, a piece I composed and recorded for a wellness music label. This raag is known for its ability to aid in stress relaxation and deep sleep, perfect for meditation and wellness projects.

About Featured

Every studio session requires a different approach to sound. Whether I am tuning to A=440Hz for a commercial jingle or capturing the deep resonance of Raag Malkauns for a wellness label, my priority is the texture of the instrument. I use a close-miking technique to capture the subtle movements of the strings while keeping the recording clean, free of plectrum clicks, and ready for your mix.
