Monthly Trail Conditioning at Cubbon Park
Schedule & Location
- Frequency: 3 guided group sessions per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday).
- Timing: 05:30 AM start (approx. 90 to 120 mins).
- Venue: Cubbon Park, Bengaluru (utilizing uneven paths, roots, and stairs).
Training Focus
- Technique: Transitioning from road to trail form with focus on shorter strides and higher cadence.
- Drills: Surface management on loose soil and obstacle navigation.
- Injury Prevention: Ankle strengthening and stability mobility flows.
Strength & Conditioning
- Functional Fitness: 15 to 20 mins post-run high-intensity workouts (CrossFit style).
- Elevation Work: Stair repeats and slope running within park limits.
Community
- Atmosphere: Strictly dog-friendly environment.
- Socials: Post-run breakfast and chai circles (food cost borne individually).
12-16 Week Ultra Race Prep Camp
Program Structure
- Duration: 12 to 16-week syllabus timed to peak for specific races (e.g., Malnad Ultra).
- Phases: Complete cycle covering Base Building, Intensity, Peak Week, and Tapering.
- Volume: Progressive long runs extending from 12km up to 35km+.
Elevation & Technique
- Location Training: Specialized weekend excursions to Nandi Hills for actual elevation gain.
- Skills: Technical descent coaching to protect knees and uphill power hiking strategies.
Strategy & Gear
- Race Prep: Guidance on mandatory gear (vests, headlamps) and efficient packing.
- Nutrition: Testing fueling strategies (gels, salt, solids) during long training efforts.
Race Support
- Squad Travel: Community coordination for travel and accommodation.
- Race Day: Start-line warmups and finish-line support as a team.

What We Actually Do
- We help you transition to trail running, not just with miles, but with real mountain running skills and mental toughness.
- Training means more than jogging - we hit strength workouts, agility drills, and tweak your form till you’re efficient on uneven ground.
- Our hill sprints and stair sessions prep you for those brutal climbs. Sometimes, we take the gang to Nandi Hills for some serious lung-busting fun.
- For those eyeing ultras, we focus on long distance trail preparation - structured, progressive long runs, tempo, Fartleks. It’s sweaty, but it works.
- We always train for specific trail races, so you get a taste of what’s coming on race day. No surprises.
Our Community Vibe
What matters most? The people. After every session, chai and breakfast are a must - that's where laughter and stories happen. Dogs are always welcome; our pawfriends are part of the crew.
We train in Cubbon Park, Namma Bengaluru, early mornings - rain or shine. So, nasha chhodo, hamare saath run karo (leave intoxication, run with us). Endorphins > everything else.

My Story
Started out just another guy pounding Bangalore roads, then one half marathon flipped a switch in me. Next thing, I’m running ultras and dragging friends along. RTC came alive in 2019, but honestly, Cubbon Park and its dogs—my pawfriends—turned running into a real family affair. Now, every sunrise, it’s not just about miles, it’s about sharing energy, cheering humans and dogs, and building this wild, sweaty tribe.
My Work
All Kinds of Run Training - We do group runs for 10k, half, full, and ultra marathons with tempo, intervals, hill sprints, and runner’s CrossFit.
Cubbon Park - Our Turf - Every session’s at Cubbon Park. Sunrise, fresh air, and the city waking up - that’s our vibe.
Early Morning Grind - Runs start 5:30 am sharp, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays. Rain or shine, we show up, no excuses.
Run, Laugh, Repeat - We train hard but it’s about fun. Garba nights, races, and always cheering each other on.
Dog-Friendly Running Crew - Cubbon Park dogs join us—sometimes pacing, always cheering. If you love dogs, you’ll fit right in.
