About this collection
Transitioning to trail running isn't just about longer distances, it’s about changing how you step. On the road, you land on your heel, but on uneven forest paths, you need to shorten your stride and focus on your cadence to avoid twisted ankles. We drill this in Cubbon Park so you don't waste energy when you finally hit those mountain climbs.
My training program isn't about running until you drop. It's about getting you race-ready. Whether you're training for the Malnad Ultra or just curious about what it takes to survive a 50k, my 12-16 week camps cover the essentials: periodized planning, proper gear strategy, and learning how to power-hike when the elevation gets too steep to run.
We focus on 'Surface Management' at our Cubbon Park sessions. We practice on roots, stairs, and loose soil because when you're 30km into a race, your brain needs to know how to place your feet automatically. We combine this with post-run strength drills to prevent the typical trail injuries like twisted ankles or knee fatigue.
For those ready to level up, we do weekend excursions to Nandi Hills. These aren't just for fitness. They are for testing your nutrition (what to eat when you're tired) and getting used to the technical descents that destroy your quads if you don't know the right technique.
We are a dog-friendly crew, and we believe in the 'post-run chai' ritual as much as the miles. It’s where we swap stories and actually learn from each other. If you are tired of running alone and want a squad that shows up rain or shine, join us. Nasha chhodo, hamare saath run karo.
Road To Trail Club
Hey, I'm Sujith. I started Road To Trail Club because I wanted a squad that treats running as a team sport, not a solo grind. Whether you're eyeing your first ultra or just want to swap boring roads for something wilder, come join us for a session—we’ll get sweaty, share some chai, and get you ready.
