About Our Brides & Grooms
We do not just stitch fabrics; we build a narrative. Whether it is matching your groom’s sherwani collar embroidery to your blouse neckline or picking fabrics that glow in the same light, I ensure you both look like a perfectly synchronized pair for your Muhurtham or reception.
At Rithi Design Studio, my process starts with a conversation. We sit down at my studio to sketch the vision, choosing fabrics like raw silk or velvet that reflect the mood of your ceremony. For weddings, coordination is key. I often receive requests to create a shared thread between the bride and groom, which I achieve by mirroring embroidery motifs, using the same custom dyes, or aligning subtle details like the latkans and pocket squares.
My hand-embroidery work, using zardosi, pearls, and crystals, is done with precision, often taking weeks to perfect. This is not just about matching; it is about balance. If the bride’s Muhurtham saree is heavy, I keep the groom’s sherwani elegant but complementary, ensuring neither outfit overpowers the other. We also handle the full bridal party, meaning if you want your bridesmaids or family members in the same color palette, I can customize those outfits too.
Whether you are planning a traditional South Indian Muhurtham or a modern cocktail evening, my goal is to ensure you feel like the best version of yourself. Come by my Sadashivnagar studio with your ideas and mood boards, let’s start sketching.
