About this collection
When I design these festive sets, I focus on the balance between the saree weave and the blouse embroidery. I don't just match colors. I pair the specific texture of fabrics—like a stiff Kanjeevaram with a soft, heavy-work velvet or a breathable Tussar with intricate Maggam detailing—to make sure the outfit feels as good as it looks when you wear it to your next puja or family gathering.
Festivals in India are about tradition, but they are also about the energy you bring to the celebration. This collection is rooted in the nine-day spirit of Navratri, where each day calls for a different hue, texture, and feeling.
My approach is to treat your festive outfit as a conversation between the saree and the blouse. If you are picking a classic red Pochampally ikkat, I suggest embroidery that highlights its geometric heritage without overpowering the weave. If you have a soft Mysore silk, we might choose a floral printed silk blouse to keep it elegant and light.
Why Custom Festive Wear?
- Fabric Pairing: I handpick fabrics based on the occasion. For long hours during festive rituals, we prioritize comfort—like breathable cotton-lined blouses—without sacrificing the festive shine.
- Custom Embroidery: My studio in Sadashivnagar specializes in Maggam work, Zardosi, and pearl detailing. Whether you want your family initials on the back or a specific motif from your favorite festive story, we can incorporate it.
- Perfect Fit: We skip the generic off-the-rack sizing. During our one-on-one consultation, we sketch your neckline (U, V, or keyhole) and sleeve length to ensure it complements your frame perfectly.
Whether you are looking for a complete set for an upcoming festival or just need the perfect blouse to refresh a saree you already own, I am here to help you style it.
