About Mindful Mandalas
You do not need to be a skilled artist to start; we guide you through drawing the base geometry and layering colors, ensuring you finish a piece you are proud of by the end of the session. Whether you are in our Chandapura studio or connecting from your home, we focus on the meditative process rather than perfection, helping you relax as you build your design.
Mandala art is essentially a form of active meditation. The repetitive nature of drawing circles, petals, and geometric patterns helps shift your focus away from daily stressors and into the present moment.
What we cover in our sessions
In our studio classes, we walk you through the entire process step-by-step. We start with the grid work to ensure symmetry—which is the foundation of any good mandala—and then move to the filling techniques.
- Dotillism: We teach the use of specialized tools to create intricate dot patterns, which adds texture and depth to your work.
- Color Theory: We guide you in selecting harmonious color palettes that make your mandala pop, whether you prefer bright, vibrant contrasts or soothing, monochromatic tones.
- Free-hand vs. Guided: For beginners, we provide patterns to get you comfortable, but we encourage you to experiment with your own floral or geometric motifs as you gain confidence.

If you are joining us online, we offer the same interactive guidance, ensuring that distance does not stop you from finding your creative spark.
Whether you are looking for a weekend workshop to unwind or a structured course to build a new skill, we provide the environment and the mentorship to help you get there. You will walk in with a blank canvas and walk out with a piece of art that you created yourself.
