Carnatic Music Workshops & Masterclasses

This poster announced a workshop on Alapanas and Swarams. These thematic sessions are open to all musicians who want to deepen their improvisational skills and performance techniques.

It was humbling to see the enthusiastic response for my Chennai workshop, which sold out quickly. I look forward to creating more such opportunities for us to learn and grow together.

This poster was for my "Carnatic Deep Dive Sessions" in Kerala. The goal of these sessions is to provide a space for focused learning on specific aspects of Carnatic music.

The first session of my deep dive workshop focused on generating richness in Alapana. We worked on methods for phrasing and structuring to make improvisations more evocative.

The second session of the same workshop was about "Melding Layam & Melody." Here, we used arithmetic as a framework to conceive and execute interesting melodic ideas in Swarakalpana.
