This is a selective, four-hour intensive practice session designed for intermediate and advanced Veena players. The focus is purely on `sadhana` to build stamina, fretting control, speed, and `gamaka shuddham` through relentless, structured repetition.
The Art of 'Kanakku': Rhythmic Explorations
For me, `kanakku` or the mathematics of rhythm is a creative tool, not a rigid formula. In these explorations, I break down complex rhythmic patterns, `nadais`, and `korvais`, demonstrating how to use arithmetic as a brush to paint melody.
