Veenopasana: Intensive Stamina Sessions for Veena
Veenopasana is not a teaching class; it is four hours of continuous, collective sadhana. Designed for serious players to build stamina, fretboard control, and gamaka purity through relentless repetition.

About this collection
This is a rigorous four-hour drill session, not a lecture. We sit, we play, and we repeat until our hands find the muscle memory they need. Because we maintain a specific intensity, please be prepared to share an audio recording of your playing so I can ensure everyone is ready to jump into the same pace.
Music is a never-ending journey, and my Veenopasana sessions are where we strip away the theory to focus purely on the craft. These are not standard workshops or music classes. They are four-hour blocks of continuous, collective sadhana. I designed these sessions for intermediate and advanced players who already understand the fundamentals but are hitting a wall with their physical capabilities.
We focus on three main areas:
- Gamaka Shuddham: Getting the oscillation and note purity right, every single time.
- Fretboard Control: Navigating octaves with speed and clarity, even when the math behind the melody gets complex.
- Stamina Building: We play until our hands feel the weight of the instrument, pushing past muscle fatigue to find a cleaner, more resonant sound.
We work in an acoustic environment—no mics, no amplification. It is just you, your instrument, and the group. This helps us hear the natural nuances of the Veena and forces us to play with genuine intent. Because the sessions rely on group momentum, admission is selective. I ask for a short audio recording from everyone beforehand so I know we are all at a level where we can push each other without leaving anyone behind. It is challenging, it is intense, and for those ready to go deep, it is deeply rewarding.
