Creating a home that feels like 'Sukoon'—peaceful, personal, and effortlessly yours. We design living and dining areas that flow perfectly with your daily life.

Golden hour in Project 'Sukoon'. This living room is a perfect example of warm minimalism, where soft neutrals, a comfortable boucle sofa, and a handcrafted cane swing come together to create a space of pure tranquility.

A complete view of the 'Vrindavan' living and dining area. By using a bench for dining and pops of blue, we created a cohesive, open-concept space that feels both spacious and intimate.

The finished living room of our 'House in the Hills' project. The green fluted panel and marble-effect wall create a modern yet natural focal point, complemented by a low-height TV unit to maintain an open feel.

The star of the Vora House. This blush sofa-cum-bed adds a soft pop of color against the neutral, textured walls. It's a versatile piece, perfect for family movie nights or hosting overnight guests.

A walkthrough of the 'Sukoon' living and dining space. Notice the indoor swing for chasing sunsets and the L-shaped dining bench, a smart solution for maximizing seating in a compact area.

A closer look at the 'Vrindavan' living room. The design balances modern furniture with traditional touches, like the arched mandir cabinet, creating a space that feels both current and timeless.

This cozy L-shaped dining bench in the 'Sukoon' home is more than just a place to eat. It’s a space for conversations and connection, designed to bring the family together.

About Living & Dining Spaces

In many Mumbai homes, a bulky dining set can cut off the entire room's flow. I often replace traditional chairs with custom L-shaped benches tucked against the wall. It saves valuable square footage for your living area and turns the dining space into a cozy nook for conversation, not just meals.

Your living and dining area is the heart of your home, and designing it right means balancing aesthetics with pure utility. I do not believe in standard layouts that look like a catalog. Whether you are living in a compact apartment in Kandivali or a spacious flat in Sion, I look at how you actually use your space.

Designing for Flow and Function

When I work on living and dining interiors, my first step is often re-evaluating the floor plan. In projects like the Vora House, we completely swapped the TV and dining zones to create a logical flow that opened up the entire area. We focus on practical solutions:

  • Smart Seating: Using benches or multi-functional furniture to reclaim space in narrow dining passages.
  • Layout Adjustments: Converting standard windows to French windows for better daylight, or adding pocket doors to manage AC efficiency and privacy.
  • Mandir Integration: Designing traditional prayer units that blend into modern TV cabinetry, keeping the heritage alive without breaking the contemporary aesthetic.

The 'Sukoon' Philosophy

Design is not just about what you see; it is about how the room makes you feel. I use warm minimalism and earthy palettes to create a sense of calm. You will see this in our use of fluted panels, cane accents, and soft neutrals that act as a base for your personality to shine through. From the initial 3D visualization to the final handover, I handle the technical site work, structural changes, and furniture construction so you do not have to stress about the coordination.

If you are looking for a space that is lived-in, warm, and tailored to your daily routine, let’s talk.
