Mindful Practices: Breath, Meditation & Healing
Wellness isn't just about physical postures. It is about calming the mind, regulating your nervous system, and finding deep stillness. Join me to reset.
A shoutout to my husband for being a total Ice King! Here we are at a Wim Hof breathwork and ice plunge workshop. It's an intense but incredibly powerful practice for building mental and physical resilience.
We've realized life is so short. Taking time for small, cherished moments like meditating together on a rock by the sea, radiating love back and forth, is what truly matters.
About Mindful Practices: Breath, Meditation & Healing
It is not just about sitting still. We use specific techniques like the Wim Hof ice plunge to build physical and mental resilience, alongside guided Yoga Nidra to settle those racing thoughts. It is an intense but grounding way to step out of your usual routine and finally let go of the noise.
My approach to meditation and healing is built on the concept of Dinacharya, or aligning your daily rhythm with nature. When we work with breath, we aren't just doing exercises. We are tapping into your nervous system to help you recover from the chaos of city life.
Why Breath & Meditation Matter
In my retreats near Bengaluru, I focus on somatic breathwork and Pranayama to help you move from a state of 'doing' to a state of 'being'. Many guests come to me carrying years of stress and tension. Through guided meditation sessions, often held on riverfront decks or in lush forests, we create a safe space for you to acknowledge what you are feeling without judgment.
The Healing Modalities
- Wim Hof Ice Plunge: This is a core part of my resilience training. It sounds intimidating, but I guide you through the breathwork first, so your body is prepared for the cold. It is a powerful shock to the system that clears the mind like nothing else.
- Yoga Nidra: We use this restorative practice in the evenings. It is a form of guided deep relaxation that helps settle racing thoughts and prepares your body for actual, deep rest.
- Somatic Breathwork: This helps in releasing trapped emotions. We combine this with movement so the energy you shift has a place to go.
Whether you are a complete beginner or someone who has meditated for years, these practices are designed to be accessible. We don't strive for perfection here. We strive for a better connection with ourselves. If you are ready to stop waiting and start living, let’s talk about your reset.
