Here, in the stillness of the forest, I find my flow. This is what my retreats are all about: reconnecting with nature's rhythm, letting the sound of a waterfall guide your breath, and finding your balance on the ancient earth. It's more than a yoga pose; it's a moment of pure presence.
Community and selfless service, or *Sewa*, are the heart of my retreats. We begin our meals with a prayer of gratitude and share a traditional South Indian *Yele Oota* feast on a banana leaf. It’s in these moments of sharing that we build connections that last a lifetime.
I believe yoga is for every single body. In my Iyengar yoga sessions, we use props like ropes and blocks to make poses accessible and safe for everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners. This is a space of non-judgement, where you can simply be yourself.
As a certified raw vegan chef, I believe food is medicine. I prepare every meal myself, using organic, plant-based ingredients. Here, we are making a vibrant and crunchy kale edamame salad that nourishes the body and delights the senses.
Sometimes, the best way to find your flow is in the water. Our Aqua Yoga sessions are a joyful part of the retreat, helping you build core strength, improve mobility, and relax deeply, all while having fun and connecting with the group.
Evenings at my retreats are for winding down and turning inward. We gather for serene candlelight meditations, sometimes using restorative yoga and red light therapy to release the day's tension, calm the nervous system, and reconnect with our inner peace.
