About Swimming Lessons
My Approach
Swimming isn't just a hobby for me - it's my whole life. I live to swim, and that passion spills over into my teaching style. No shortcuts, just hard work and steady progress. Michael Phelps is my inspiration, and I push my students to find that same drive inside them.
What My Classes Cover
- If you’re new, don’t stress. We start with the basics till you’re at home in the water.
- Want to get faster or swim smoother? I focus a lot on stroke correction techniques - freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, all that.
- If you’ve got a competitive streak, you’ll fit right in. I love pushing students for medals, whether that’s at the state level or aiming higher.
Safety First, Always
Speed is great, but honestly, water safety training for kids and adults is non-negotiable. I’ve even placed at the World Life Saving Championship, so I know how important these skills are. I make sure everyone learns what’s needed to stay safe, whatever their level.
Why I Coach
Seeing my swimmers become champions, especially for India, is what drives me. I’m ASCA certified, and nothing beats watching students go from nervous beginners to confident, medal-winning swimmers. If you’re ready to work hard, I’ll be right there with you.

My Story
Hey, I’m Praveen Babu. If I’m not in the pool, I’m probably talking about it! Water is my home. I’ve raced at the World Life Saving Championship in Netherlands (came 8th, still buzzing) and got the BEST OUTGOING SPORTSMEN award in college. Michael Phelps? My hero. Meeting legends like Abhinav Bindra and Sushil Kumar just adds fuel! My dream now? Be the coach who inspires others, just like my heroes did for me. Hard work, all the way.
