About Professional Coaching & Stroke Correction
You will find me right by the poolside, not sitting on the sidelines. I keep a coach-to-student ratio of 1:10 to 1:15, meaning I personally observe your body position and stroke mechanics during every session. If your arm recovery is lagging or your kick is dragging, you will hear it from me immediately.
Mastering a stroke is about training your brain and body to work together. When you join my coaching sessions, we go beyond basic laps. We analyze your drag, your propulsion, and your body position in the water.
For beginners, the priority is water safety and confidence. We start with fundamental buoyancy drills before moving to proper stroke mechanics. If you are an advanced swimmer, we refine your technique for the freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, or butterfly to maximize your speed.
My sessions at Dolphin Aquatics in Betahalasuru are structured to include dry-land warmups to activate your muscles before you even touch the water. We use kickboards and pull buoys to isolate specific movements, ensuring you don't just swim, but you swim correctly.
Whether you are aiming for a local medal or just want to become a stronger, more efficient swimmer, we focus on building muscle memory through repetition and consistency. You have to be prepared to put in the hours, because in this sport, HARD WORK PAYS OFF.
