Praveen Babu's Swimming Journey and Competitive Achievements
See my path from the pool to international racing. Every medal here is proof of the hard work I demand from myself and my students.
This poster celebrates my 8th place finish at the World Life Saving Championship in the Netherlands. This achievement is a core part of my expertise in water safety training for all my students.
A proud memory of being named "Best Outgoing Sportsmen" during my college days. My personal journey as a competitive international swimmer is the foundation of my coaching career.
I believe you must work hard until you become an inspiration to others. Standing next to this poster of myself is a reminder of my own journey and the path I help my students follow.
This image captures my philosophy perfectly. Just like Hima Das and other great athletes, I want my swimmers to see that with dedication, they too can become role models.
My coaching credentials and my Dolphin Aquatics shirt. I am proud to be part of creating the next generation of champions for my country. This is more than a job; it is my mission.
This is a collection of the medals and trophies I have won over the years. They represent countless hours of hard work and dedication to the sport of swimming.
About My Journey as a Swimmer
People often ask if training with a former competitor is different. It is. When you look at these medals, you are seeing the result of specific drills and intense discipline. I do not teach just for fun; I teach you the exact methods I used to race at the World Life Saving Championship in the Netherlands. If you want to get faster, we have to follow the same process that got me there.
Swimming is more than just floating or moving from one side of the pool to the other. For me, it is about constant improvement, which is why I am an ASCA certified coach.
My Competitive Background
My journey from winning 'Best Outgoing Sportsman' in college to placing 8th in the World Life Saving Championship was not magic. It was years of repetitive, focused training. I bring this same intensity to my classes at Dolphin Aquatics. Whether we are working on freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, or butterfly, I focus on the small technical adjustments that increase your speed and efficiency.
How We Train
When you join my sessions, you get more than a teacher; you get a partner who knows what it takes to compete. My coaching focuses on:
- Technical Correction: Fixing drag and body position to make you glide, not struggle.
- Race Preparation: If you are competitive, we work on FINA-standard starts, tumble turns, and finishing techniques.
- Endurance Building: We use the 50m Olympic-size pool to build the stamina required for real performance.
I believe in the mantra: HARD WORK PAYS OFF. If you are ready to put in the effort, I will make sure you see the results in the water. We track your progress, identify your weaknesses, and push past them together.
