Classical Pilates and Strength Training Sessions
Experience a balanced approach to fitness with personalized 1-on-1 sessions or high-energy group classes, designed to build strength without the burnout.
This was a fun, high-energy group workout I led, mixing interval training with mobility drills. I always adapt my classes for different age groups and fitness levels, so everyone can participate safely and have a good time.
In my group classes, I make sure to give individual attention to help clients with their alignment and form. Here, I'm guiding a client through a core and back strengthening series on the Reformer.
That's the smile of a coach who knows the burn is real but the results are worth it. I love watching my clients push their limits and get stronger with every session, especially during tough exercises like Bulgarian split squats.
About In the Studio: Group & 1-on-1 Sessions
When you walk into a session here, do not expect mindless reps on a machine. Whether we are on the Reformer or the Wunda Chair, I focus on the Contrology method, meaning every movement is slow, intentional, and designed to fix your biomechanics rather than just burn calories. You will learn to control your core, not just grind through the clock.
Whether you are booking a private session or joining a group class at the Domlur studio, the focus remains on functional movement. My 1-on-1 sessions are deeply personalized. If you come in for rehab or injury management, we utilize the Cadillac or Tower for specific spinal decompression and resistance work. This is not about rushing; it is about precision.
In our small group classes, we keep the numbers small, usually capping at six people. This ensures I can still provide tactile cueing and form corrections, even while keeping the energy high. We use the Reformer for flow, but we also mix in rings, bands, and stability work to keep it challenging.
Why this method?
Most people approach fitness with a 'more is better' mindset, often leading to burnout or injuries. My sessions are the exact opposite. We prioritize mobility because, quite honestly, if you cannot move well, you cannot train well. I teach you how to listen to your body, distinguish soreness from pain, and build strength that supports your actual life, whether that is running a marathon or just picking up your kids without back pain.
What to expect when you join:
- Biomechanical analysis: I watch how you move, walk, and breathe.
- Real equipment: Access to full classical Pilates apparatus suites.
- Balanced approach: We work hard, but we do not obsess. If you want to know how to fit a balanced diet around your training, I am always happy to chat about that too.
