I lost 28 kgs not by starving, but by returning to our roots! Here is the story of how I stopped dieting and started living a balanced, plant-based life.

My story of moving to Bangalore and falling in love with the local food, from Ragi Mudde to Rasam rice. This land gave me my identity, and my journey from being a confused corporate girl to a founder is tied to the food I discovered here.

People think holistic eating is a new trend, but it's not a Western concept. Our dal chawal, sabzi roti, it's all vegan and has always been part of our culture. I believe we just need to return to the wisdom our grandmothers always knew.

The biggest myth about veganism is that it's expensive. But *dal chawal toh vegan hi hai!* Our basic, everyday Indian food is already plant-based and affordable. It's about going back to simple, nourishing meals.

This newspaper feature captures a part of my journey. From my personal health transformation to helping other women, every step has been a lesson in consistency and choosing myself, even when it's hard.

Being featured here for my work with KuKClean was a reminder of my mission. My aim is to inspire people to start cooking clean by going back to traditional grandma's recipes and eating local, seasonal produce.

This feature tells the story of how my venture, KuKClean, was born. It started from my own plant-based journey and a passion for educating people about healthy, guilt-free snacks that are both delicious and traditional.

A proud moment completing the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women program at IIM Bangalore. This journey taught me resilience and gave me the tools to turn my passion project, KuKClean, into a sustainable business that helps others.

My principle for KuKClean is simple: I only sell what I eat myself, and I would never sell anything I wouldn't give to my own daughter. Everything is absolutely chemical-free and preservative-free, started with a mother's thought process.

About My Journey: How I Made Health My Lifestyle

Most people think weight loss requires expensive ingredients or complex meal plans. In reality, it started for me with simple swaps like replacing packaged snacks with home-cooked millet options and prioritizing raw salads. You do not need a total life overhaul, just small, consistent habits that you can actually maintain every single day.
