Custom Saree Transformations for Lehengas and Gowns
We turn your old sarees into custom-fit lehengas, gowns, and dresses. We focus on very good stitching and finishing to give your fabric a new life.
A beautiful floral saree repurposed into a matching mother-daughter lehenga set. I ensure both outfits are comfortable and perfectly tailored for you and your little one.
This vibrant lehenga set was created from a single floral saree. I used the body for the pleated skirt and designed a custom embroidered blouse to match.
An elegant Anarkali gown made from a pink pattu saree. I carefully used the original saree border on the sleeves and hem for a complete, traditional look.
A grand Anarkali stitched from a royal blue brocade saree. The design includes a high neck and uses the saree's pallu for the contrasting cuffs.
Your cotton sarees can become comfortable daily wear too. Here is a checkered saree turned into a stylish midi dress with an adjustable waist.
A traditional paavada blouse set for kids, made from a classic pattu saree. I focus on making these comfortable for children while keeping the rich look.
A close-up look at the blouse craftsmanship. This design features a unique zigzag neckline and delicate tassels on the puff sleeves for a special touch.
About Featured
Converting a saree is about planning before cutting. I check the saree's weight and weave first. If it is a heavy silk or brocade, we need proper crepe lining and stiff canvas at the hem so the outfit does not sag. For cottons, we keep it breathable. When you bring your fabric, I plan the pattern so the border falls exactly where it looks best on you.
How we transform your saree
Every saree has a story. I look at the pallu and border placement to decide if it works better as a lehenga skirt or an Anarkali gown. If you have a heavy brocade, I use butter crepe lining and canvas stiffening at the hem to ensure it maintains its shape. For silk sarees, we add cancan to give it that traditional flare for weddings.
Custom fits that feel right
My focus is on three things: stitching, finishing, and fit. If the fit is not right, the dress will not feel good. I add princess-cut padding to blouses and hidden zips for a smooth look. For casual wear, like turning your cotton sarees into midi dresses, I include elastic waists and pockets if the fabric width allows.
