Blouse Embroidery and Finishing Details

Many people focus on the fabric, but the construction is what makes an outfit wearable for years. When I work on a blouse or dress, I check everything to ensure quality.

• Stitching and Strength: I use double stitching at stress points like armholes and waists so the garment holds its shape.
• Interior Comfort: Every gown and blouse gets soft lining—either butter crepe or breathable cotton—so the fabric feels comfortable against your skin.
• Structuring: For lehengas and gowns, I use canvas fusing and heavy-duty hooks. This ensures the waist does not fold and the zip stays concealed.
• Hand Work: Beadwork and embroidery are placed by hand. I take the time to align prints vertically and use saree borders for a seamless look.
• Finishing touches: I make custom latkans (tassels) from the leftover saree scraps, so nothing goes to waste.
