I know what it means to wait for a stage—so I built one instead. My approach to arts curation & event management is rooted in my journey through dance (Nritya), learning (Kalike), and action (Karma). Everything I do is about making space for artists, both new faces and masters, to connect with real audiences and each other.

The Punyah Theatre: Hub for Creation

• Our Bangalore venue is a living lab for the arts. Here, you’ll find everything from my own company’s shows to new works by other artists.
• We keep things open—sometimes free, sometimes with just a small ticket—because art is for everyone.
• Distance isn’t a barrier: we stream select performances live for a wider reach.

The Punyah Dance Festival: Where It All Comes Together

• This interactive arts festival is a multi-day deep dive into classical dance—Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Odissi, and more.
• Beyond performances, you’ll find lec-dems, panel chats, spontaneous jams, workshops, and big premieres.
• It’s busy, messy, sometimes a bit chaotic, but always about genuine connection (and, honestly, the post-show gulab jamun doesn’t hurt).

Collaboration & Growth

• I’m big on collaborative dance production—think unexpected pairings, new ideas, and platforms for emerging artist showcase.
• The aim: push boundaries together, not just repeat what’s already been done.

Real talk? Managing events is never smooth. There’s always stress, surprises, some apashakunam lurking. But I’ve learned to stick with it. My job is to hold the space; yours is to bring the fire.
