International Bharatanatyam Tours and Artistic Collaborations
I believe art has no borders. Whether it is a premiere in Basel or a workshop in Boston, these global stages are where tradition meets new perspectives.
Our 2024 Europe Tour poster for "ATAH," a production where we connect the dots between tradition and contemporary expression. This tour took us to cities like Basel, Rome, and Milan.
An announcement for the premiere of our new work, "Ataha," in Basel, Switzerland. In this video, Adithya PV and I invite our European audience to be part of this special debut.
Here we are announcing our performance in Boston as part of our US tour. We were excited to present a traditional Margam featuring interesting compositions we had worked on over the past couple of years.
We were honored to present "Abha," our retelling of the Ramayana, at the prestigious Teatro Astra in Torino, Italy. This poster represents our commitment to bringing high quality Indian classical dance to international venues.
This poster announces the Diwali "Festa della luce" (Festival of Light) in Rome. We were thrilled to be a part of this grand celebration of Indian culture in Italy.
As part of the Diwali 2024 celebration in Rome, our Punyah Dance Company artists conducted a unique six hour workshop on Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Indian Contemporary dance styles.
I am delighted to be invited to inaugurate the "Lalithambika Fest" and conduct a Bharatanatyam workshop alongside Adithya PV. Collaborating with other institutions like Lalithambika Sangeetha Natya Koodam is essential for community growth.
About this collection
When I tour, it is rarely just about stepping onto a stage for an hour. I combine performances with intensive workshops, connecting with local artist communities from Basel to Boston because that is where the real dialogue happens.
My work beyond our Bangalore studio is about breaking boundaries. Taking productions like 'Atah' or 'Astithva' abroad is not just for the thrill of a new venue. It is about understanding how audiences in cities like Milan or Rome engage with Bharatanatyam.
I see these international stops as crucial workshops. I do not just land, perform, and leave. I look for spaces to teach, conduct intensives, and sit down with local dancers to exchange ideas. It is a messy, beautiful process that helps me refine my own craft.
If you are looking to host a production or organize a workshop, know that I prefer settings where we have time to go deeper than just the surface-level performance. Whether it is a small black box in Europe or a festival in the US, I bring the same energy I use at Punyah Theatre. Let us chat if you want to explore a residency, a performance tour, or a collaborative project that pushes what classical dance can be.

I am Parshwanath. I do not believe in keeping art inside a box, even if that box is here in Bangalore. I love taking our traditions out into the world and seeing how they land in different cultures.
