My practice is built on continuous learning and sharing evidence-based insights. Explore my professional certifications, workshops, and media appearances where I discuss sports science and rehabilitation.

I am proud to have successfully completed the Movement Assessment Tool (MAT) Level 1 and 2 certification. This tool is a cornerstone of my practice, allowing me to gather objective data on movement capacity.

Receiving my MAT certification and equipment. This system allows me to move beyond guesswork and use precise measurements to guide my assessment and treatment plans.

Posing with my MAT instructor. Continuous learning and adopting new, evidence-based tools are essential for providing the best possible care to my clients.

A moment of focus and fun during the MAT certification course. The training involved hands-on practice of various assessment techniques, including spinal mobility and core endurance tests.

A participant being assessed using The MAT. This tool provides a standardized way to measure movement in multiple planes, identifying asymmetries and limitations that could lead to injury.

Day 1 of exploring the Movement Assessment Tool. This system is designed to quantify movement, helping me to create more effective and targeted rehab programs.

Day 2 of the MAT course was full of new tests and more data. Here you can see assessments for spine range of motion and core endurance, all designed to build a complete picture of an athlete's functional capacity.

Day 3 of the MAT course focused on return-to-sport testing and peak performance analysis. This knowledge is crucial for helping athletes heal completely and return to their sport with confidence.

The philosophy is simple: let's assess, not guess. The MAT and Measurz systems provide the data needed to make informed decisions about an athlete's readiness and rehab progress.

A look at some of the performance-based tests I now use in my clinic, including foot strength testing with a dynamometer and analyzing jump mechanics. I'm excited to integrate these into my practice.

About Additional Certifications & Media

I do not rely on standard training or intuition alone. My practice uses tools like the Movement Assessment Tool (MAT) to generate objective data, which I also teach to fellow trainers and athletes. When you work with me, you receive a rehabilitation plan based on precise measurements, ensuring we treat the root cause, not just the symptoms.
