About this collection
You don't need to be a pro to get your hands dirty here. Most of our craft sessions are designed for absolute beginners, and for workshops like sewing or visible mending, we actually encourage you to bring your own old garments to breathe new life into them instead of just buying new materials.
At Paper Crane Lab, we think learning should be a hands-on adventure, not a stiff classroom experience. Our Indiranagar makerspace is built for people who want to step away from screens and actually build, fold, stitch, and print.
What happens at our craft workshops?
We rotate through a bunch of different skills, so there's always something new to try. You might find yourself:
- Sewing & Mending: Learning to use a machine for the first time or fixing that favorite shirt with visible mending.
- Paper Arts: Folding origami boxes or assembling zines.
- Printmaking: Creating blue-and-white cyanotype prints using nothing but sunlight and found botanicals.
- String Art: Weaving geometric patterns that turn straight lines into curves.

We don't do gatekeeping. We provide the tools, the materials, and the guidance, but you bring the curiosity. Whether you are coming in solo or with friends, the vibe is always relaxed. We believe that mistakes are just part of the process—that's why we call ourselves a lab.
