About Fiber & Thread Crafts
Ever tried hammering nails to make art or watching a tie-dye pattern unfold on fabric? Our fiber workshops are all about that tactile, satisfying feeling. You do not need to be a pro to join; we guide you through the process step-by-step, whether you are picking up a punch needle for the first time or creating your own batik design from scratch.
There is something incredibly calming about working with your hands. At our HSR Layout studio, we host a rotating lineup of fiber and thread crafts designed to help you disconnect from the daily grind and make something you are genuinely proud of.
What You Can Learn
- Punch Needle Embroidery: This is one of our most popular sessions. It is rhythmic, repetitive, and super satisfying. We provide the hoops, the yarn, and the needle—you just bring your energy and pick the colors.
- Tie-Dye & Batik: We love the mess! Come experiment with color and pattern. From traditional batik waxing techniques to the unpredictable joy of tie-dye, you will walk away with a personalized piece of fabric that is one of a kind.
- String Art: This requires a bit of patience, but the result is a stunning 3D design. You will learn to hammer nails onto a base and weave threads to create everything from feathers to custom patterns.
- Macrame: Learn the knots to create your own plant hangers or wall decor. It is a slow, meditative process that looks great on your wall.
We provide all the supplies, from the dyes and fabric to the frames and tools. Our workshops are intentionally kept intimate, so you get plenty of hands-on help. You do not need to bring anything except your enthusiasm. Whether you come solo, with your office team, or with a group of friends, we promise you will leave with a smile and a finished project.
