Creative Electronics and Coding Workshops
Technology and coding are just art tools waiting to be used. Whether you want to solder your first circuit or write your first line of code, we keep things messy, fun, and experimental.
The best part of our paper circuits workshop: seeing everyone's creations light up at the end.
A throwback to one of our favorite electronics projects: a Stranger Things inspired light up alphabet wall made with paper circuits.
Soldering can be an art form too. Here's a time lapse of us creating a little light up sculpture, or "LED hoomin," just for fun.
The final result: a little LED person sculpture that lights up with the flip of a switch.
Another angle of our little LED sculpture, a fun project to practice soldering skills.
A look at the circuit diagram for our LED sculpture project. We provide clear instructions to guide you through the process.

About this collection
You do not need an engineering degree to make things blink or beep. Just bring your laptop, a mouse, and some curiosity. Our workshops are designed to get you soldering or coding in a few hours, because we believe the best way to learn tech is to build something messy and real with it.
We have seen folks come in thinking coding is just for computer science students and soldering is for professionals, only to walk out with a working light-up sculpture or a custom-coded project. At our Indiranagar makerspace, we strip away the intimidating theory and focus on the joy of making.
What happens in our electronics and coding sessions?
- Soldering as Art: We move beyond standard repair work. You will learn to solder by building creative projects like our 'LED hoomins' or circuit-based sculptures. It is all about hand-eye coordination and understanding how current flows.
- Physical Computing with Arduino: This is where things get really fun. We use Arduino to bridge the gap between digital code and physical action. Whether you want to turn a plant into a musical instrument or create interactive light displays, these workshops give you the foundation to start your own DIY prototyping.
- Coding for Real Projects: No dry lectures here. Whether it is generative art with p5.js or building apps with React, we focus on projects you can actually use or show off.
We provide all the specialized gear—from the soldering irons and microcontrollers to the sensors and breadboards. You just bring your laptop and an open mind. These are not passive classes; they are high-energy sessions where you are expected to experiment, fail, and try again until your project works exactly how you imagined.
Paper Crane Lab
We are Paper Crane Lab, a group of curious makers based in Indiranagar. We believe technology and coding should be playful, not intimidating. Come by to experiment, break a few things, and learn to build something new.
