About this collection
Our workshops aren't about sitting through endless theory. We keep the groups small so you actually get your hands on the machines—whether that's our 3D printers, laser cutters, or soldering stations. Most sessions are beginner-friendly and built for you to create something you can take home, but please remember to bring your own laptop and mouse, as we work with open-source design software.
Think of our calendar as a mix of stuff we’re excited about and requests from our maker community. We don't run rigid, corporate-style training; we run sessions where it's okay to mess up, ask silly questions, and try again.
What to expect at our workshops:
- Hands-on, not hands-off: You aren't just watching a demo. You are designing, cutting, or coding from start to finish.
- Small cohorts: We keep sessions intimate (usually 6-10 people) to make sure you get enough time with the facilitators.
- Tool Access: During the workshop, you get full access to the necessary lab gear—no extra equipment rental needed.
How we plan our month
We post our monthly schedule here, but we often add extra open houses, repair days, or pop-up workshops as the month goes on. If you're looking for something specific, like an Arduino workshop or a deep dive into React(JS), our calendar usually covers a rotation of these topics.
For those who want more regular time in the lab, check out our PCL Pass. It’s like a gym membership but for makers, giving you independent access to the lab and its tools whenever you need to finish that project you started. Paper Crane Lab
We’re a bunch of curious folks at Paper Crane Lab who just really love building stuff. We turned our space in Indiranagar into a messy, happy lab where you can try out 3D printing or coding without feeling like you're in school. It’s all about the 'make-fail-retry' energy here.
