About Your Project, Our Lab: PCL Pass Showcase
This is not a traditional co-working space where you just park your laptop. Our lab is a dedicated makerspace for active building, soldering, and printing. You arrive with your design files and raw materials, and we provide the heavy-duty machinery—3D printers, laser cutters, and electronics workbenches—to help you turn your digital designs into physical objects.
How the PCL Pass Works
We built the PCL Pass because we know how hard it is to find access to industrial-grade tools in Bangalore. It is designed for people who have the vision but need the hardware to execute it. We host a community of makers, from hobbyists repairing broken household items to professionals prototyping game components.
What You Can Access
- 3D Printing: Use our printers to create custom casings, game pieces, or functional kitchenware.
- Laser Cutting: Perfect for precision work on acrylic, wood, or stationery designs.
- Electronics & Woodworking: Access our soldering stations, hand tools, and woodworking area for larger, hands-on fabrication projects.
The DIY Reality
This is a self-service model. We handle the initial safety setup and machine operations to get you started, but after that, the workbench is yours to manage. You will need to arrive with your design files ready in formats like .STL or .DXF. We don't do the project for you, but we are always nearby if you hit a snag or need a second opinion.
Practical Details
We offer hourly, daily, and 10-hour passes to suit your project scope. Please book your slot via our Google Calendar link before coming by so we can ensure the machine you need is free. It is a fantastic way to finally build that thing you have been sketching on napkins, so come prepared to get your hands dirty and make some mistakes along the way.
