About Behind the Lifts

You don't build a 390kg squat alone. At my studio in Matiala, it is about the team—Jaskirat, Deven, and the brothers in iron who come here to work. When you step onto the platform, you leave your ego and excuses outside. Whether you are prepping for nationals or just fixing your deadlift form, you need an environment where nobody tolerates lazy habits.

Powerlifting is 90% Mental

People see the medals and the big numbers, but they don't see the hours in the rack, the shared focus, or the times we pick each other up after a failed set. My studio isn't for people who want to pose for photos or waste time. It is for those who want to lift heavy, break their own limits, and respect the iron.

From technical cues on the squat rack to back training that builds a foundation for the deadlift, everything in this gym is calculated for results.
