About The Squat Rack

Getting the rack height right is the first step most beginners mess up. If you have to stand on your toes to unrack or you are squatting too low just to clear the hooks, you have already wasted energy. Set it just below shoulder level so you can unrack with a slight knee bend, lock out, and step back. Every ounce of energy belongs on the lift, not the setup.
