About Themed Pop-Ups & Collaborations
These events are designed to be more than just dinner. Whether I am partnering with another chef or exploring a specific regional theme, the goal is always to create a space for conversation and genuine connection. Please note that seating is limited and often booked in advance, so checking for upcoming dates is the best way to secure your place at the table.
My pop-up events are where I let my creativity take the lead. By moving beyond my standard tasting menus, I can explore specific culinary regions or engage in a creative exchange with other talented chefs.
The Collaborative Process
When I host a '4 Hands' dinner, the focus shifts to a shared vision. I partner with guest chefs to blend our techniques, resulting in a menu that neither of us would create alone. We often pair these evenings with specific sensory elements, such as vinyl music records or cigar sessions, to build an atmosphere that matches the intensity of the plates.
Exploring Global Flavors
From a vibrant Mexican supper club featuring blue corn masa and mole, to a festive French Christmas menu, each theme dictates the ingredients and the rhythm of the evening. I select themes that allow for technical depth, such as house-made salsas, slow-roasted proteins, or intricate pastry work. The goal is to transport you through the food, whether we are recreating the lively energy of a Spanish bodega or the refined comfort of a French holiday meal.
Practical Details
- Venue & Vibe: These events rotate across Bangalore venues like Roast or The Conservatory. Each location is chosen to fit the specific theme.
- Booking: Due to the intimate nature of these dinners, seats are strictly limited. I announce upcoming dates and themes in advance, and spots fill up quickly.
- Inclusions: Each event includes a multi-course menu, with pairings or beverages often matched to the theme.
Clive Fernandes
I see food as a bridge to connection. When I host a pop-up, I want every guest to feel the effort, from the music playing in the background to the stories I share about each course. It is about bringing people together for a night that stays with you long after the last plate is cleared.
