Behind the Scenes of My Home Kitchen
I believe in complete transparency, so here is where the magic happens. See how I prepare every meal—from chopping fresh veggies to packing your tiffins—with the same care I would use for my own family.
Every masterpiece begins with a little chaos. Here’s a peek at my prep station, with freshly chopped cabbage, carrots, beans, and beetroot ready to be turned into delicious, wholesome meals.
A typical morning in my kitchen, with lots of tiffins packed and ready for dispatch. I feel so humbled and grateful for the love and trust my customers show me every day.
About this collection
When you order from One Humble Meal, you are not getting mass-produced food. I personally oversee everything in my GM Palya kitchen, ensuring strict hygiene standards like completely separate utensils and cooking areas for vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Every vegetable is chopped fresh daily, and my masalas are made from scratch, so you get the genuine taste of home without any preservatives or shortcuts.
I started this journey with a simple promise: to cook food that feels like a warm hug. When you see the photos of my prep station, you are seeing exactly what goes into your meal.
Why Transparency Matters
- Separate Setups: I know how important dietary preferences are. That is why I maintain distinct cooking zones for vegetarian and non-vegetarian items (strictly chicken and egg). You never have to worry about cross-contamination.
- Freshness First: I avoid frozen or pre-packaged ingredients. My team and I hand-select our produce, and we prepare our masalas in-house. This gives the food that distinct ghar ka khana (home food) flavour that you just cannot replicate with store-bought mixes.
- Sustainable Delivery: Whether it is a small lunch box or a large corporate catering order, I try to minimize waste. I use reusable steel tiffins for daily subscribers and biodegradable sugarcane pulp trays for events. It is a small step, but it feels right.
How I Work
My menu changes every week, which helps me use seasonal ingredients and keep the meals interesting. If you have an upcoming event or want to start a tiffin subscription in Bangalore, I am happy to chat about your needs. I prefer to keep my orders manageable so I can maintain the quality and the personal touch that defines One Humble Meal. If you want to know what is cooking this week, just send me a message.
One Humble Meal
Hi, I am Sanjhanaa. One Humble Meal started in my own kitchen because I wanted to share the comfort of home-cooked food with others. Everything you see here is a labour of love, meant to make your busy days a little easier and a lot warmer.
