My Commitment to Sustainability
I started One Humble Meal with a dream to reduce waste while serving nourishing food. That is why I do not use plastic. For my daily tiffin subscribers in Bangalore, I use traditional stainless steel carriers. They are not only better for the environment, but they also keep your lunch warmer and fresher than disposable containers ever could.
Hygiene and Respect
I understand that food preferences are personal and important. To ensure complete hygiene and respect for everyone's dietary choices, I maintain entirely separate cooking stations and utensils for vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. My non-vegetarian menu is strictly limited to chicken and egg, with no red meat or seafood. When you order from me, you can trust that your food is prepared in a clean, familiar environment with the same ingredients I would use for my own family.
Packaging for Events
For corporate lunches, office gatherings, and parties, I use biodegradable bagasse trays made from sugarcane pulp. These offer a sturdy, spill-proof, and compostable solution for larger groups.
