Clinical Nutrition and Lifestyle Management
I help you manage health conditions, weight, and lifestyle through sustainable, home-based Indian nutrition plans. No fads, no fasts, just science-backed results.
Hey guys, I am Seema Singh, a clinical nutritionist with 24 years of experience, including 10 years as the HOD at Fortis Hospital. I specialize in both clinical and wellness nutrition, helping people manage lifestyle disorders and achieve their weight goals. This channel is where I share my knowledge, so let me know what health topics you want to learn about.
I was truly delighted and honored to receive the Visionary Indian Award as a Real Life Hero. This recognition for my dedication to therapeutic and wellness nutrition services inspires me to continue helping my clients achieve their health goals. It's a testament to the power of using food as medicine.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing my clients succeed. Here is Satyam sharing his experience with his weight loss journey at my nutrition clinic. His success is a result of consistent effort and a personalized diet plan that works with his lifestyle, not against it.
My philosophy for a healthy life is simple and sustainable. It's a positive cycle: it starts with positive thinking, which helps you feel good. Feeling good motivates you to do regular exercise, which in turn encourages you to eat better, reinforcing the entire cycle. This is the foundation of all my diet plans.
Did you enjoy the festivities? I always say, don't deprive yourself! After some overeating, this green juice is my favorite way to detox. It helps with puffiness and water retention caused by extra salt. Just blend white petha (ash gourd), coriander, mint, and one amla for a simple post-festival reset.
I had the pleasure of presenting my book, "Hormonal Harmony," to my friend Dr. Amit Javed, a renowned GI and Onco Surgeon. The book is a guide to understanding the hormonal journey for both men and women. It's my hope that it helps many people manage their symptoms and find balance.
PCOD is a hormonal puzzle, but it's one you can solve. It's not just about cysts; it's an imbalance that affects mood, skin, and weight. A balanced diet with regular meals is a key part of achieving hormone harmony and managing PCOD symptoms effectively.
It was a pleasure to meet and consult with actor Randeep Hooda. Even with a busy lifestyle, prioritizing nutrition is key to maintaining energy and health. My goal is to create practical diet plans that fit into anyone's schedule, whether you are an actor or a professional.
About Featured
Most people come to me after trying endless crash diets. My approach is not about cutting out your favourite rotis or mithai, but fixing the timing and portion sizes. We start by reviewing your recent blood work, such as your lipid profile, thyroid, or HBA1c, because your diet plan must be based on your actual biochemistry, not a generic chart.
With over 24 years of experience, including a decade as the HOD at Fortis Hospital, I have seen every fad diet come and go. My clinical practice is rooted in one simple truth: you cannot starve your way to health. Whether you are dealing with PCOD, diabetes, or simply trying to get back to a weight that feels good, the solution is always found in your own kitchen.
Why my approach is different
My focus is on therapeutic nutrition that works with your Indian lifestyle, not against it. We do not use exotic, expensive ingredients. Instead, we look at how to balance your existing home-cooked meals—the dal, roti, and sabzi you already eat. I teach you how to time your meals, use specific spices for digestion, and manage the inevitable festive overeating without guilt.
What we address:
- Lifestyle Disorders: Evidence-based diet plans for managing and reversing conditions like Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, and fatty liver.
- Hormonal Health: Specialized protocols for PCOD, thyroid issues, and gut health, focusing on reducing inflammation naturally.
- Sustainable Weight Management: Moving away from the cycle of weight loss and gain to a maintainable long-term lifestyle.
I believe in transparency. When you consult with me, we look at the data—your medical history and lifestyle—to build a roadmap. My goal is to make you self-reliant, so you understand your portions and food combinations without needing a diet chart for the rest of your life. Let's move past the myths and start working on a foundation that actually lasts.
