Ready to shave seconds off your time? Whether it's perfecting that racing dive, mastering a flip turn, or refining your freestyle stroke, our technical clinics get you to the next level.

Here's a look at the diving progressions from our workshop. We start with safe vertical jumps on land and move to kneeling dives, crouch dives, and finally, full racing dives off the blocks. Safety and proper form are always our first priority.

Part one of our popular Dive and Flip Turn workshop! We started with some dry-land tumbling to get used to the motion, then took it to the water with somersaults and drills to master the freestyle and backstroke flip turns.

Look at the excitement on our adult swimmers' faces as they learn how to do a flip turn! It's a skill that makes you feel like a pro, and with the right drills, it's something anyone can master.

Even our little sharks are learning to dive into the deep end! It can be scary, but our coaches are right there to guide them. Here you can see our advanced and pre-competitive kids practicing their dives from the pool deck and starting blocks.

Perfecting the backstroke start takes practice. Here, one of our competitive swimmers, Husena, works with our coaches to fine-tune her dive technique for the upcoming State Championships. Every detail counts!

Let's talk about freestyle breathing. A common mistake is not rotating your body enough. In this video, we demonstrate how your hips and shoulders should rotate to allow you to get a clean breath without lifting your head.

Here is a detailed tutorial on how to master your freestyle side breathing. I break down the head position, timing, and body rotation needed to get it right. This is one of the toughest skills, but practice makes perfect!

A close-up look at side breathing. Notice how one goggle stays in the water and how the head turns to the side, not up. Remember to exhale fully underwater before you turn for a quick, relaxed breath.

The butterfly stroke is powerful and beautiful to watch. Here, Coach Sumesh and I do a few demonstrations for our swimmers. Even though our techniques are slightly different, we both love the feeling of flying through the water.

There's nothing like watching a smooth, powerful butterfly stroke in slow motion. You can really appreciate the rhythm and strength that goes into it. This is our coach Sanmith, a former national-level swimmer, making it look easy.

About Advanced Skills & Technique Workshops

Most swimmers hit a plateau because they lose momentum at the walls or upon entry. Our workshops focus on the physics of the 'Grab Start' and the somersault mechanics of the flip turn, so you aren't just swimming harder—you're moving through the water with real efficiency.
