Feeling nervous is normal. We help you move from being scared of the deep end to swimming with total confidence in our safe, guided sessions.

This is what it's all about. Watch one of our beginners take her very first jump into the 7-foot deep end. With her coach right there for support, she conquered her fear, and we were there to capture the wonderful moment. Excellent!

Want to learn how to stay afloat in deep water? I demonstrate two key survival skills: the doggy paddle, which is great for beginners, and sculling, which is for more advanced swimmers. Mastering these will give you so much more confidence.

The doggy paddle is a life-saving skill that everyone should know. In this tutorial, I break down the steps, starting with the support of pool noodles to help you get comfortable with the arm and leg movements before trying it on your own.

If you panic when your face is in the water, here are a few tips. Getting good goggles, learning to exhale through your nose underwater, and going at your own pace are the first steps to feeling calm and in control.

We teach deep water skills for all levels at our 50-meter pool. From beginners learning to stay vertical with a kickboard to competitive swimmers doing challenging drills, we help everyone build their water confidence.

Two different pools, but the same post-swim vibe of pure relaxation. Using pool noodles to float after a class is a great way to cool down, relax your muscles, and just enjoy the feeling of being supported by the water.

When was the last time you just relaxed? The water is a perfect place to let go of stress. Here, our swimmers are taking a moment to float and unwind after their session.

Find your moment of zen in the water. Floating allows you to switch off, breathe deeply, and experience a feeling of calm and weightlessness. It's a form of meditation that we love to practice.

Let your worries float away! Our coach Pauravi shows how a couple of pool noodles can turn into your personal floatation device for some well-deserved relaxation after class.

About From Fearful to Fearless in the Water

You don't have to jump into the deep end on day one. We use a step-by-step approach at our Nalapad Academy and BCU pools, starting with gentle floatation drills using noodles and kickboards. My coaches stay right there with you, breaking down skills like treading water or the doggy paddle until your panic turns into natural, rhythmic breathing.
