About Festival & Stage Performances
When we stage a performance, we do not just focus on the dance steps. We coordinate everything from the live orchestra and mood lighting to the specific makeup requirements for mythological characters. Whether it is a solo Bharatanatyam recital or a 15-member thematic ensemble, my team manages the entire production logistics so you can focus on the audience experience.
Beyond our regular classes, these performances are where the 'Sadhana' (disciplined devotion) of my students meets the stage. We treat each event like a spiritual offering, ensuring that every movement carries the weight of tradition.
Our Performance Approach
We believe in visual storytelling that respects the depth of Bharatanatyam. In pieces like 'Narasimha Kavuthuvam,' we use precise ensemble positioning to create the illusion of multiple arms, transforming the dancers into living art. For larger productions, we handle the full technical spectrum—from studio-mastered narrative tracks to arranging a 5-piece live orchestra featuring a vocalist, mridangam, and flute.
Production & Logistics
We understand that a performance is only as good as its execution. We collaborate with experienced technicians for mood lighting, ensuring the stage ambiance matches the production theme, whether it is the serene glow required for a Krishna drama or the fierce energy of our Durga presentations. We travel throughout Bangalore and beyond, bringing our own costumes from 'Natyambara,' props, and crew.
