Meet Your Coach: Narendra
Running isn't just a sport—it is my way of life. Get to know the man behind the track sessions, the community work, and the discipline we build together.
Beyond the track, I also engage in sessions to share knowledge and experiences. Here I am during a session, discussing sports and general news with a group.
A behind-the-scenes look at the maintenance of our training ground. A good track is essential for performance, and I appreciate the hard work that goes into keeping it in top condition.
Participating in an International Yoga Day event. I believe yoga is an invaluable gift from our culture, essential for the mental, spiritual, and physical well-being of any athlete.
A moment at home, surrounded by the medals and trophies my athletes have won. Their success is my pride. Jai Hind!
Another photo from my home, with the Indian flag and my athletes' awards in the background. My love for my country and my passion for coaching are intertwined.
A big thank you to Mirchi Delhi for having me on their show. It was a great opportunity to talk about my passion for running and coaching.
Feeling positive after a great conversation at the Mirchi radio station. I am always happy to share my story and motivate others to start their fitness journey.
Another shot from my visit to the Mirchi Plus studio. Spreading the word about athletics and a disciplined lifestyle is a crucial part of my work.
A view of the empty stands at JLN Stadium. This is my temple, a place of hard work, sweat, and dreams, even when no one is watching.
A quiet moment of reflection on the track. Coaching requires focus and a clear vision, and I often take time to walk the track and plan my sessions.
About Meet the Coach
You won’t find me behind a desk. My coaching happens on the track at JLN Stadium or on the roads of Lodhi Garden, where I personally watch every stride, time every sprint, and ensure your form is spot-on. It is hard work, and when you are training in the heat or sweating through intervals, I am right there beside you, pushing you to hit your personal best.
Fitness is my dharm (duty). My life is split between the track, my community work, and the constant pursuit of discipline. I do not believe in shortcuts or quick fixes. When you join my sessions, you get more than just a training plan—you get someone who will wake up early to make sure you are getting your sprints right.
We train at JLN Stadium for serious track work and use the open paths of Lodhi Garden for our group runs. Whether you are an aspiring athlete looking for sprint mechanics, a professional needing to break a personal record, or a parent wanting to get your child off the screen and onto the ground, my approach remains the same: show up, work hard, and I will handle the rest.
My training philosophy blends modern athletic techniques with a traditional, grounded approach. We use basic, effective tools—medicine balls, stadium stairs, and grit. If you are looking for a community that calls each other 'cheete' (cheetahs) and supports one another through every finish line, you have found the right place.
Common Questions
Do I need to be a pro to join? Absolutely not. I train everyone from U-14 beginners to seasoned marathon warriors. If you have the will, I have the time.
How do I get started? Send me a message. We can discuss your fitness goals, whether it is for competitive athletics or just general endurance, and get you on the track.
